What Is The Contribution Of The Surroundings In The Writings Of Allan Cunningham?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

As happens with most of the writers, the surroundings of Allan Cunningham had profound impact on his life and writings. As we all know that besides his lyric, the most popular writing that belongs to Allan Cunningham was his works on sculptor and architect and there is profound reason for the phenomenon. He served as an apprentice to a stone mason and he worked as a clerk in the studio of a famous sculptor. These stints made him know deeply about the areas and its use in our society and compelled him to write about the subject.

Songs are also considered as an expression of artistic emotions and probably it is for this reason that his lyric attained far more popularity than that of his prose an even some of his prose works did not attained any fame in the world of literature.
