The term equilibrium basically is a sense of rest or emotional balance which is there in humans as well as in animals. It may even be addressed to Equilibrium system also known as Homeostasis which is the characteristics of a released system.
This is often found in living organisms, to adjust its interior environment to keep a steady, constant form, through the basis of active equilibrium modifications and controlled by interconnected directive mechanisms. This term was derived in the year 1932 by Michael Ohanian from the Greek homoios and stasis.
Ecological homeostasis is established in a climax community of highest acceptable biodiversity, given the existing ecological circumstances. In disturbed ecosystem or sun-climax biological communities like the island of Krakatoa, after its main eruption which took place in the year 1883.
