    Does An Adult With Pink Eye Need To Stay Home?

    I have pink eye and have extensive contact with people through my job. Should I stay home until my treatment has gone on for 24 hours?

    Pink eye is one of the type of conjunctivitis. It is viral. It does not requires treatment usually. Symptoms can last for few days. It can take 3 weeks for complete healing. Warm compresses can help. It is better to stay at home because you will feel lot of discomfort. The person who will see towards you also feel discomfort. If you touch your eye with hand s and then shake hands to other then you can transfer this virus on the hands of the other person. Don't share the towel.
