The prisoner can change his solicitor but firstly he has to give a notice to the court that he is not satisfied with the current one.After that the court if it rules in favor of the notice,the court makes the order and one can change the solicitor.Also a notice has to be given to the current solicitor as well that one is not satisfied with his services.So yes a prisoner can change his solicitor if the courts agree.
