My dauschun is 7 yrs of age had at least 8in. Tumor. She is getting sores from the tumor rubbing against the ground when she walks. Around the wound it look dark purple. I'm afraid shes getting gangrenes. We want to have her for one more xmas but not for me for her and the kids. She is so tired my fiance thinks it is not up to me to play god

The poor little girl. Have you tried a nice soft supporting bandage around her body? Put a doggy T shirt over the top so she doesn't take it off. She could also have pain killers from the vet. Feed her on nutritious tasty titbits like liver, kidney, bacon. After all - it is not time to be worrying about her weight, just give her a nice couple of weeks.
I know how you feel, we kept one of our oldies going over Christmas a few years ago on pain killers and tlc. He spent a happy couple of weeks, then we made the decision after Boxing Day. It helped us to know that he had had a nice time at the end.
