Is Othello Being Justified In What He Did To Desdemona?

I am studying the tragic flaw of Othello trying to get to know the Othello as much closer as possible in order to relate with today's situation of love and desire.

No, Othello was not justified in his treatment of Desdemona. She was his wife and was very faithful to him. Othello was persuaded by Lago to prove that his wife is unfaithful. This makes Othello kill her at the end of the play. He was her husband and should have trusted her with all her heart. Instead, he paid heed to the villainous Lago and killed his beautiful wife.

It's Iago, not Lago. Otherwise, yes.
