 I Have A Five Year Old Male Miniature Poodle Who Growls, Shows His Teeth, Etc. Whenever He Disagrees With Me. I Do Not Know How To Correct This Problem. Thanks For Your Help. |
| Our dog, Chase, has been to obedient school and responds to commands such as sit, stay, outside, etc. He loves to play . He is loveable on his terms, not ours. He growls if he has a bone and I try to take it (I can somewhat understand this) however, he also growls, shows his teeth and would bite, I think, if I didn't give in. He can be sitting on the sofa and I sit beside him and he growls at me (Like he thinks I am going to make him move) which I have never done. Help!! |

You have to become top dog! It will just get worse with age... Check out the "dog whisperer" books by Cesar Millan... They'll teach you everything you need to know. (and no.. I don't get a cut of the royalties : )
