    If you wish to have a carrier in investment banking, u must know that investment banks all over the world appoint graduates in a wide range of disciplines such as law, accountancy or from business school even IT. There are many universities that provide a diploma or a scholar's degree in investment banking. The duration of the course can be between 3 weeks to 1 years depending on the curriculum.

    Usually, the minimum entry requirement is an upper second class honors degree or a professional qualification in law or accounting. But even an "A" levels or business studies diplomas can join investment banks in clerical positions.

    For an appropriate professional qualification, the choice of professional institution will depend upon the area of specialization. Some famous ones are The Chartered Institute of Bankers, The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators or any of the other professional accountancy bodies.
