Can You Solve It By Using The Square Root Property, (x+6)^2 = 4?

    (x+6)^2 = 4
    taking sqrt on both sides we get
    x+6 = 2 or x+6 = -2, since (+/-2)^2 = 4
    so we get either
    x = -4 or x = -8
