    Consider three numbers ‘a’, ‘b’ and ‘c’, then the distributive property of multiplication over addition is;

    a x ( b + c) = ab + ac

    The given question is 4 X (6+2). The distributive form of the given expression is;

    4 X ( 6 + 2 ) = ( 4 X 6 ) + ( 4 x 2 )

    4 X ( 6 + 2 ) = 24 + 8

    4 X ( 6 + 2 ) = 32
