Indiana City. A psychopath gunman opens fire at a random crowd killing five people. On being arrested he says nothing to no one. Finally when he opens his mouth to his lawyer he says "bring me Reacher"
But how is one to find this untraceable loner? However, Reacher is already on his way to meet this psychopath. What bond is it that these to share? But, by the time Reacher sets foot in Indiana it's a minute too late. His arrested friend is beaten, unconscious and has no memory of his crimes.
So now, its Reacher's job to fix the pieces together and get to the bottom. No doubt this book ends with a bang but the adrenaline rush that it creates is purely unexplainable.
Yes, missing this book would indeed be a crime.
