What Do I Do When I Can't Put An Earring In A Newly-pierced Ear?

I had my ears pierced 6 weeks ago and got new earrings (gold) at the weekend. I left them out last night and now I can't get them to go in. Can I do anything or is it too late, would the holes have closed overnight?

You should get some warm water and salt and rub it across your ear lobe then get an ice cube put it at the back of the ear lobe and push the earring through you wont feel it cause its numb but you may feel a little pain after.

Well that is very strange, the holes cant get closed overnight. I would suggest you to  try getting them in again. Its just that sometimes the earrings miss the exact length of the hole and diverge to other parts inside the skin. So Try again.

They have not closed maybe there is pus in them you need to wash with antiseptic and let someone put them in for you.
You can also check the size of the earing it might be too big while your ear hole is small in size.
