From my view point i think that there is not so much disadvantages in using CAD instead it has got advantages but the disadvantages is that people feels lazy in drawing the structure by our own hand and in our university we just copy others assignment and send it, which makes us to learn less but if we suppose to write by ourselves we may not just copy others assignment and submit it but due to CAD we are made lazy.

The disadvantage of using AutoCad:
Time & cost of implementing the CAD system.
Time & cost of training people to use the CAD.

It is quite hard to use it so it takes a bit of practice and training.
