While Central Park is 6% Manhattan at 843 acres, Pittsburgh covers 58 square miles, considerably more than the park.

Thank you. I live in Pittsburgh. Trust me when i tell you that Central Park looks huge on TV. Downtown Pittsburgh looks like it would fit right inside it, more than once. I guess they"re counting the surrounding boros too, but thanks again.
I suppose it depends on your vantage point. I also thought the park was larger than it is, but I read that Pittsburgh is a very nice place to live.
