How Much B-12 Does A Cat Need To Help The Kidneys And Is Steroids Necessary Or Can The B-12 Be Enough?
I need help: Can't afford the vet right now - laid off with no money - but want to help my cat.

Pachina ,i am also a cat lover. As far as kidney is concerned i think b 12 is enough as it contain more effectiveness than steriods.

If you cat has definitely been diagnosed with kidney problems, depending on his BUN and Creatnine levles, you may need to do more. I know what a financial burden it can be as I just spend over $2,700 on my 10 year old cat....he was in pretty bad shape. I can say proudly that he is doing 99% better now, but it was a long and widing path that lead to his recovery: Daily i.v.'s at home, iron, appetite accelerator and kidney medicine. I wish you all the luck in the world. I hope the B12 is enough and I pray for you and a miracle.
