Why Were The Working People Mad During The French Revolution?

It was the Third Estate or the working class that was extremely upset. For one they had no money because they were forced to give a large portion of everything they earned, made, or grew to the king, landowners, and church. Second, it was impossible to "move up" in the world because unless you were born a noble you were pretty much a poor farmer the rest of your life. Moreover, the First Estate (the clergy) and the Second Estate (the nobility) could out vote the Third Estate (the poor) so really they had no say in anything. All in all they were treated awfully and were dirt poor while the nobility and the king and queen lived the high life spending thousands of louvres on shoes and food. Hop that helps! :)
