What Is In Our Drinking Water?

    It can be any chemical in our drinking water depending upon its source of pollution. Usually chlorine is added in a very low quantity to kill the germs and bacteria. Cholorine is also used in swimming pools, but in larger quantity as compared to the household use water. You might have noticed that while showering in your washroom, you feel like you are swimming in a pool. Its because sometimes , by mistake, chlorine is added in greater quantity. In some countries, Hydrogen peroxide solution is added in water to kill the harmful bacterias that causes cholera, typhoid, motion sickness, liver and stomach diseases. Hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) is often called as oxygen water. Its simply water with an additional oxygen molecule. It is an anti-infectious, anti bacterial and anti fungal. 3% sol is used as a household, 95% sol is used in rockets as an oxygen supplement. 3% or 6% is usually used on cuts and wounds.  Layman is not advised to use concentrated solutions.
