How Do I Know If My Furniture Is Laminate?
The furniture is very smooth and shiny. It shows dust and fingerprints very easily. Using furniture polish (Pledge) streaks no matter how hard you try to wipe it off. HELP! My new furniture looks terrible.

Pour few drops of water on your furniture and see if they stay there then it means it's laminated because water show cohesive property when exposed to most laminations if it does not show cohesion then it's rather not laminated

Use a tack cloth to wipe your furniture off or real cotton cloth like a baby diaper . Then try windex multi surface cleaner to clean the fingerprints off. That should help get the streaks off. . Hope this helps.
