    The Longest river in Scotland is River Tay. The length of this river is 120 miles and it has a basin area of 4970 kilometers.

    This river has its origin in the Highlands. It then flows down through Strathtay, towards the center of Scotland, through the city of Perth and then into the Firth of Tay, South of Dundee.

    It is also the seventh longest river in England. And the largest river in UK regarding the water discharge which is on average 170 meter cube per second.
