What Kind Of Guitar Is Better For A Gift Dean Or Fender?

Electric or acoustic? What price range. Dean makes some decent mid range electrics but most people go for the Fender name. I do like Fender acoustics better then Dean. But as far as electrics it is a toss up unless you are going to spend a lot of money and buy an U.S.A Fender.

I'll suggest to go for Dean, but for me it always has to be an Ibanez or Les Paul.....

If you're looking at electric, I think you will like the Fender better, or even yet a Les Paul, Gibson !!!

Dean gets my vote because Dimebag Darrell (amazing guitarist, also my idol) played them.
Fender is used by pretty much everyone at some point in time, though.

Honestly, it's your call, they are both amazing guitars. Go down to your guitar/music store and play both of them, then decide which one you like better.
