What Are My Rights As A Renter In Kansas?

My landlord has asked me to keep the electricity & gas on and they did renovations during that time. What rights do I have ?

This is something that you should most definitely take to the landlord/tenant board! If he is expecting you to leave the utilities in your name while he is doing the renovations, then I would tell him that he needs to reimburse  you for the time that he is using the utilities, and for the inconvenience that it is causing you. But if the work is being done upon your request, then it would stand to reason that you foot the bill for the utilities. I can't say for sure as I don't live there, but like I said, go to the landlord/tenant board and talk it all over with them. Hope this helps, good luck.
