I have a dark thick brown discharge for about 3 weeks, the only problem is that it doesn't come out I only know that it is there when I urinate. I am worried that it may have something to do with my new birth control, Nuvaring

Well yes several Birth control pills are said to cause a dark brown thick discharge. It is normally when you miss a pill or change a pill or did not give the gap that is meant to be given. It is due to hormonal imbalance. Nothing serious to worry about. However, for satisfaction's sake do visit a gyno.
