What Are Binoculars?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A device that makes distant objects or things look larger is known as binoculars. Binoculars are considered as a set of tools used to enlarge distant objects by passing the picture through two adjoining series of lenses and erecting prisms.

In the simplest definition binoculars are defined as magnifying instruments that are made up of two telescopes mounted on a metal or plastic structure so that viewer can see images much closer and bigger.

Utilizing curved glass lenses and multiple lenses within the frame helps to magnify the object/ subject each time it passes the frame. Many Binoculars made recently use prisms which merge the light as it enters the objective lens. This helps to magnify the images as they pass through the frame. This can help to make smaller and more powerful binoculars.
