The Buzz section lists the ten users who have contributed the most answers in the last twenty four hours. The list is updated every hour, so more users get recognition for their contributions. Meanwhile, if you want to stay longer in the buzz list, you need to work hard as a bee :)
We hope you continue to enjoy using the site and thanks for all your contributions.

Thank YOU, and nice improvement. :)
very nice..now I will have a REALLY hard time staying focused at work..
OK! YAY! Finally some one to give a gabby know-it-all such as myself some credit! LOL! thanks keep up the good work!
It's really not a valuable feature in my opinion, since the number of questions answered in the past hour/s doesn't reflect quality of answers or other contributions on the site. But that is only my opinion.
And also curious - how accurate is it really in real time? For example, I had opportunity to be online for several hours today at one stretch, and it is clear when I returned to home page that several users listed in the BUZZ section have not been logged in nor answered questions for those several hours (as one can see from observing the individual user profile). Yet the BUZZ section shows them as having answered 15+ questions (presumably in the last hour?) Maybe I didn't understand the explanation correctly.

Hi Amore, on your first point I think you are quite correct, the buzz is no indication of quality and is purely a representation of the most active users in the last 24 hours (the list is updated every hour presently), the idea primarily is to give recognition to the users who answer the most questions and to add more transparency to how the star of the day is chosen.
Thank you, JohnLock. That helps clarify.
If improving Blurtit is the goal, then more of who's on line and quit putting the newer people in that section! For these people already have a friendship going on and you've seen how I go out of my way to advise others on how to do things! Now others are following my lead and helping also! And WE NEED the ability to BLOCK anyone we don't like no matter who or why! READ some of the stuff going on in my Global Warming and look at the people reading MY stuff!
Well that's my BUZZ!

I agree that who's online needs more space, obviously we both are - but we don't show on the list. But I think it is nice to have the welcome for the new ones, I know it cheered me up when I joined.
By the way - I have left you a shout.

Thanks for your feedback. We will consider your suggestion in our future development.
I would appreciate it if you added any suggestions for future development in the Blurtit Blog, also I would like it if we kept this page on topic, so we can hear the views of the other Blurter's on the new Buzz section. Many thanks
