How Do I Make A Corsage?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A corsage, either for a prom, a wedding or even Christmas can be made using the following technique: first, decide on the colour of the corsage and whether it will match the dress of the person wearing it. It is also recommended that you use a wedding's themed flowers if designing for this occasion. You will probably need about one to eight fresh flowers for each corsage, depending on size. Fresh flowers are preferred but artificial equivalents can be purchased if necessary, or in an emergency. The flowers can be taped into an oval or diamond formation, or in a straight line. Using green floral tape, attach the stems of the flower to the corsage, trimming the stems if necessary. Attach the flowers to each other in a pattern, wrapping each stem with floral tape. You may then wish to add extra items, such as a bow, using a hot glue gun or florist wire.
