What Do You Do With Lupins After Flowering?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Lupins should be cut back once they have flowered early in June, this will cause new but smaller spikes of flowers to grow later in the season.  You should remove the faded flowers and also the heavy crops of seeds which will otherwise weaken the plant and if left to disperse, seedlings of inferior quality will dominate the garden!
