It can be "Lazy" because it's nocturnal, meaning it sleeps during the day and is active at night.

Building nests is a common behavior of many hamsters - males included.
There is no real test or behavior you can observe, especially if you just purchased the hamster and cannot compare her behavior to her behavior before she became impregnated.
You can take her to a vet and they'll be able to tell. One test, but it does not work with every female hamster is to stroke her back. If she stands still and lifts her tail up, chances are she's not pregnant. Do this everyday for about 4 days. If you never get a reaction, then yes, there's a chance she's preggers. You can also ignore the answer before mine (9 weeks). Hamsters give birth about 16 days after mating (if she hasn't given birth by 18, then you can rule out a pregnancy).
