RAM stands for Random Access Memory. And it is the main memory in the computer.
While
ROM is Read Only Memory. An example would be BIOS.
The major Difference is RAM is Volatile memory. The data gets lost when you turn off the power.
but, the data in the ROM stays in it and cannot be changed. You can change the data but it required special devices.
