Losing Weight, What Can I Do?

Ugh I hate the extra lbs that I've gained over the holidays. I have been on a 1300 calorie diet and have been exercising. I gained 10 lbs and have lost 5lbs...My goal is to get to my normal weight of 125, or even get down to 120. My problem is I can seem to get to 125 again. I have gained weight in the past the same amount even a little more but I am at a plateau and I can't seem to lose the rest. Any suggestions? Diet pills that really work? Anything....

Alright .. I don't think diet pills are the best thing they only speed up your metabolism and then once you get off them it will slow it down.. So they only work for a short period of time.
You said that you were on a 1300 calorie diet.. The best thing you want to do is don't keep track of your calories, its only going to make you more depressed and eventually start to eat more.

What you want to do is just start to eat only 3 meals a day and 1 snack. Make sure you eat your three meals so your metabolism will start to burn what you eat faster. Don't over eat either, just small portion size but enough to where you are not hungry. You should also consider cardio if you really want to lose all the weight you want.
I hope this works for you! =]

Those stubborn last five pounds are the worst. I think that counting calories is a great way to keep your diet consistent. I also suggest that you eat a decent size breakfast; your body needs this energy to get going. I was told by my trainer that even if you have bacon and eggs in the morning (or something with a lot of calories), it isn't that bad because you have the whole day to burn the calories. Then you should have a snack a couple hours after breakfast. Then have a medium size lunch. Then another healthy snack a couple hours later. And last, a small, balanced dinner. It may sound like a lot, but it is better for you to eat all throughout the day, then to just eat lunch and dinner. And of course drink lots of really cold water (the colder the better because your body burns calories just to warm it up).

I suggest that you totally switch up your workout routine. If every time you go you do 30 mins treadmill and a few weight machines, try doing an aerobics class and doing different kinds of weights. Or do the elliptical and the bike. If you are a stickler for always doing your treadmill (or whatever it may be) just try doing an extra 5 mins, and increasing the incline. When you do the same thing every time, your muscles get used to doing those things and it does not burn as many calories as it did when you began the routine.

I hope this helps! Good luck with those darn 5 pounds!

I like the Hoodia herb which curbs appetite (somewhat). Also add weights to build muscle and you'll burn at rest. No eating after dinner. Cut back or cut out all sugary drinks. Watch the bad carbs (white bread) and sugar which is in everything. Try to eat 5 servings of fruits and veggies, drink lots of water, walk, jog, lift weights and squeeze your buns throughout the day often. Also, 125 sounds wonderful. Maybe it's time to love those 5 extra pounds? For an added boost, have just a small cup of apple sauce before your morning workout.. Yup, morning.. Then you'll head straight to the fat stores.
