Side effects is depression, diarrhea, thrush, wight loss, lipodystrophy, lactic acidosis, sinus infections, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, burning and tingling of the feet and hands not to mention u still get side effects from the medication you have to take

AIDS is a depression of the immune system, so while AIDS itself has no side effects (if you're not taking retroviral drugs which certainly do have nasty side effects), your body is defenceless against disease. No one ever died of AIDS, they die of all the other things they catch because they have no immune system.
