Ovarian cancer is the seventh most common cancer among women. It is responsible for most cancer deaths in women, and is often referred to as the 'silent killer' since the symptoms don't show before the cancer has spread extensively. It is rarely ever diagnosed and treated before it gets out of control. There is no specific screening test for ovarian cancer, but a number of tests involving an examination and sometimes ultrasound of the pelvic area and blood tests are frequently used but none of these are not specifically effective for detecting ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer was not believed to have any characteristic symptoms at the early stage but recently the American Cancer Society released a statement about the most possible symptoms of ovarian cancer. These include bloating, abdominal and pelvic pain, frequent urination and feeling full without having eaten much. Although the symptoms are associated with certain other routine conditions in women such as pregnancy, menstruation and infections of the urinary tract, it is advisable to get a screening done whenever you feel any two of these symptoms at the same time. Hope this helps.

Ovarian cancer is the cancer of the ovaries. You must be knowing that ovaries are the egg generating and hormone inducing organs in women. Due to ovarian cancer, cancerous cells divide and proliferate in an abnormal way. Almost all forms of ovarian cancers develop in the skin lining the surface of the ovaries.
There are no early warning signs for the disease. It is usually called a silent killer. Most of the symptoms are of gastrointestinal nature. The symptoms of ovarian cancer may be due to other reasons also. Here are the symptoms are detected in patients in a period of two or three weeks, with ovarian cancer:
Bloating or cramping.
Constipation, gas and indigestion.
Nausea and vomiting.
Frequent changes in bowel movements and irregular pattern of bowel movements.
Abdominal pain.
Frequent feeling of urination.
Appetite loss.
A feel of lethargic and weariness.
Pain during sexual intercourse.
Bleeding in the vagina post menopause.

The two most common symptoms of ovarian cancer include, digestive and bladder disorders. The given indications are usually shown by a number of women, but they are more worse in the women who actually have ovarian cancer. For example, urinary urgency, pain or pelvic discomfort, swelling and abdominal pressure are the common symptoms of this cancer. Women with ovarian cancer may have persistent gas, ingestion and nausea. They feel loss of appetite in most of the cases. Such women usually gain or loss a lot of weight. Ovarian cancer patients feel constipation or diarrhea which means that they have changes in their bowel habits. Moreover, these patients feel low back pain and there is a persistent lack of energy.

Ovarian cancer is one of the lethal cancer because it is diagnosed when already spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms of ovarian cancer are similar to many other condition and require differential diagnosis. Symptoms of ovarian cancer are lower abdominal pain, abnormal periods,
vaginal bleeding, heavy feeling in pelvis, backache, nausea, vomiting,
loss of appetite and changes in weight. Ovarian cancer is suspected by

I have pretty much all of those symptoms but honestly it seems like half the symptoms if not all of them relate to several different health problems. It seems like I've had these symptoms for about a year, when I go to the doctors they never seem to find out what is wrong with me, are they testing for the wrong thing? Why cant they figure out whats wrong with me, what if its too late now and I have ovarian cancer.
