What Is The Parvo Virus?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Parvo is a serious viral infection. This virus causes extreme damage to the intestinal tract, causing sloughing of the cells that line the tract. This can leave the critter open to secondary bacterial infection. It is often picked up through feces of unvaccinated dogs; however, vaccination is not a guarantee that your dog cannot be infected.
