My Dog Died, Could It Be Poisoned Or Just Heat Stroke?
My boston terrier was on my porch today and when i got home he was dead and was bleeding from his mouth. I think he ate a rat the other day and it was kinda hot today too. So i really don't know what happened. But if i knew it would set my mind at ease. He always roamed around and there's chicken house all around so there's a possibility it got poisoned but i don't know the symptoms of either one in a dead dog.

It's really hard to speculate what caused him to pass away. Did you look over his body to see if there was any blood coming from other parts of his body? If not, then I would think that it could have been poison, or being hit by a vehicle. I don't think a rat could cause this. If your dog never followed the road, then I would think that it was poison. If you really want to, you can take him to the vet, and ask them to give you a probable cause of death. Hope this helps, good luck.
