Inflammation of the Gastrointestinal tract is called gastritis. In dogs, it can be due to eating of spoil food, eating of hairs & plants, overeating, foreign bodies etc. Food allergy and dietary intolerance are other causes. Sometimes dogs also ingest chemicals leading to gastritis. Treatment includes no eating for many days, increase in fluid intake, anti emetics, antacids etc. It will be better to discus with your vet.
