Who Is Joe Satriani?

    Joe "Satch" Satriani was born on July 15, 1956, in Westbury, New York, USA.   He  is an American guitarist and sometime back he was a guitar instructor. He released his first  self-released debut album, in the year 1986 by the name of  Not of This Earth, this ablum helped him to enter into the world of instrumental rock music in a pop-dominated world at that time. He is highly influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck.

    Joe Satriani at times combine a blend of warm sound of guitar with a ruling blues and rock tone. He has used his own signature guitar, since 1990, the Ibanez JS Series, and is sold in many stores and is purchases by a huge crowd of people. Joe Satriani also has a signature series amplifier, the Peavey JSX. In 1988, Joe Satriani was engaged by Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger as lead guitarist for Jagger's first solo tour.

    Later,in 1994, Satriani was asked to preform as the leading guitarist for Deep Purple, but the proposal was rejected by him. Satriani also worked with a number of guitarists of many styles, which includes Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, and Robert Fripp through the annual G3 Jam Concerts.
