Answer Question

The Cayman Islands basically is a foreign territory of United Kingdom positioned in the western Caribbean Sea including the islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

It is said to be an international offshore financial services hub and one of the foremost tourist scuba diving spots in the world. The Cayman Islands habitually addressed as "the Caymans" or plainly "Cayman" were initially sighted by Christopher Columbus in the year 1503, during his unsuccessful fourth and concluding voyage to the New World, he called these Islands Las Tortugas because of the several sea turtles found here.

The islands, along with neighbouring Jamaica, were occupied and were later given to England in the year 1670 under the Treaty of Madrid. According to the census conducted in the year 1999 the total population of this region was 39,020 having an average population density of 139.5 per square kilometre.
