Try to take the mother hamster out as quietly as possible. When opening the cage make sure that the sound won't alert the mother hamster. If it struggles even more harder to eat her babies, stop and ask for someone for help.

Unfortunately this is not uncommon.  Hamsters may eat some or all of their litter.  It is thought that this may be caused in part by stress and inadequate nutrition, or that the size of the litter is too large for her to support.  In this situation it is recommended that you add boiled eggs to the mother's diet to boost her protein intake, and try to ensure that the environment is warm and as quiet and stress-free as possible.  Handling pups which are less that 10 days old may cause the mother to reject them.  Hand rearing pups younger than this is very difficult.  This website has some good information for caring for orphaned hamster pups if you feel it is necessary to remove them:
