What Is The Use Of Matrix?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

A matrix is a rectangular table of element that is used to describe a linear equation. They are used to keep the track of the coefficients of linear transformations step by step. Matrices also keep the record of data that is dependent on various parameters. Matrices can be used to add, multiply and carry out some other mathematical functions.

In real life matrices are used in computer graphics. For the numerical data encryption matrices are widely applied. Encryption is achieved by multiplying key matrix with the data matrix. Moreover, they are also used for the decryption process, in which the encrypted matrix is multiplied with the inverse of key matrix.
