Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Eiffel tower in Paris, which was built in 1889, is 300 metres high, and the engineer in charge of the construction of the tower was Gustaf Eiffel from Dijon in France, from whom the tower gets its name.
The tower constructed from iron, has been the iconic symbol of both Paris and France ever since then, and is recognised
around the world as an emblem of  both Paris and France.
The tower has many tourist attractions within it and around it, including, a restaurant, lifts, platforms for viewing and a museum gift shop.
Around the tower is a path through a park, which is good for people watching and soaking up the sun on a sunny day.
