Umm...would there be a difference if i used pancake syrup for ginger man cookies instead of molasses?

Ginger Man cookies are best made with Molasses, as it sweetens them without any addition of color or taste. Whereas if you use Pancake syrup, it will bring additional taste to the cookies that many people won't like. Also it will effect the color of the cookies. Another thing is that Pan cake might also effect the quality of biscuits by turning them over soft. So it's best to use the traditional molasses.

I would thinks so, since pancake syrup is thinner than molasses. Also, they have different ingredients, which play a part in helping keep the cookie from breaking apart after baking.
