What Did Algonquians Contribute?

    The Algonquians contributed the 'Algonquin' it is a type of an Algonquian language. The Algonquians or the Algonkins are said to be aboriginal North American people who speak the Algonquian language. The Algonquian language is linguistically and culturally related to the Odawa and Ojibwe.

    The Algonquian have also given their name too much larger heterogeneous group comprising or consisting of other Algonquian speaking people; this community stretches from Virginia to the Rocky Mountains. It also stretches to the north towards the Hudson Bay. The regions with significant population of the Algonquian people include Quebec and Ontario; these communities mainly speak English, French and Algonquin. The total population of the Algonquians is about 11,000 to 12,000. They are religiously Christians. According to the early history of the world it is reported that the Algonquians were actually from the Atlantic coast.
