I Have To Stitches My Womb That I Don't Have A Miscarriage , What Dose That Procedure Call?
1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating
Is your question: "I have to have stitches in my womb so that I won't have a miscarriage?" If so, then it is not that uncommon of a procedure. The medical term is "cervical cerclage" and it's used for women who have a weak cervix. The cervix is supposed to stay tight during pregnancy but in some women it opens, causing miscarriage (the procedure sounds a lot worse than it is - definitely better than the alternative). Having a cervical cerclage should allow you to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, as much as pregnancy goes...Good luck!
