Which James Bond Film Starred Honor Blackman?

Answer Question

Born on 12th December 1927, one of Honor Blackman's first film roles was in the film Fame is the Spur, produced in 1946. The gravely voiced actress has since appeared in over 80 movies and TV dramas. She found fame as the character Pussy Galore in the James bond movie Goldfinger in 1964 and it was only by chance that she landed the role. Producer Albert R. Brocolli admitted that he only cast Honor as the Bond girl after seeing her perform as Miss Gale in the Avengers.
Honor was 37 years old when she performed in Goldfinger and holds the record as the oldest Bond girl! Honor originally trained as an actress at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London after she persuaded her father that having acting lessons would be the ideal birthday present for her! She married twice ~ husband number one was Bill Sankey and husband number two, the actor, Maurice Kaufmann. She adopted two children with Maurice (Barnaby and Lottie) but the couple divorced in 1975.
Despite her 79 years, Honor still has the acting bug and can still be seen on our screens today in TV dramas, soaps and on stage.
