UK: National Rail.

USA: Amtrak.

France: SNCF.

Australia: Rail Australia.

New Zealand: Railsnw.com.

Canada: Via Rail.

India: India Rail.

Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka Railways.

China: Travel China guide.

Japan: Japan rail.com.

 For the UK, you can go to the national rail enquiries website. This has information for train travel all over Britain, and if you go to the "Train Times and Fares" link you can view a list of departure/ arrival times to and from any stations that you name (it does work - I've tried it out.) There are also phone and email details on the site for any other questions.
