Does Blurtit Have A Code Of Conduct For Users?
Where is the Code of Conduct for this site and what it say about hateful, bigoted, derogatory, or offensive behavior? What can I do if I see this kind of question or answer on this site?

Yes! Blurtit! Has a Code of Conduct for its users, which is intended to keep the site a friendly place for its users.
In part, this is what it says:
"We at Blurtit wish to create a friendly and safe environment for all our users. This code of conduct has been created with this in mind. While we welcome diverse opinions, your contributions to the site must comply with the following rule of conduct: Posting any comment/post or answer that is abusive, hateful, racist, bigoted, sexist, harassing, threatening, inflammatory, defamatory, knowingly false, vulgar, obscene, pornographic or is in any way in violation of applicable laws, rules or regulation.
Any violation of these above rules of conduct may result in the removal of a users posting, revocation of registration and the banning of the registrants email address.
3.3 Questions may relate to any topic of your choice except for the following, of which BlurtIt! Does not allow under any circumstances: Questions of a sexual, derogatory or racist nature; questions that contain swearing or inappropriate use of language; questions which appear violent or aggressive; questions which may offend or discourage users."
4.4 Continued and persistent violation of the Terms within clause 3.3 will result in a ban and may progress to a legal case if such a ban is overridden by further misuse."
If you encounter a posting that seems to violate the terms of the Code of Conduct on Blurtit, you can:
1) Flag the question or the answer to report it to Blurtit! As abusive. Blurtit staff will review and take appropriate action.
2) You can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any page on the site to contact Blurtit staff.
