Can Infant Son With Non-EU Passport Enter Ireland With Irish Parents?

My wife and I hold dual nationality - Ireland and Australia. We will be travelling to Ireland with our 17 month old son who has an Australian passport only. Can we enter Ireland through the check for EU citizens? Or do we all need to go through the non-EU check?

You would need to go through the Non-EU check. In order to go through the check for EU citizens, you would need to get your son an EU or Irish Passport.
