When Do I Trim A Japanese Red Maple Tree?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To reduce the amount of seeping, most important pruning must be done in the dormant season (after the leaves have fallen). For the majority gardeners, this would be either in the late autumn after the sap has fallen, November or early spring before it starts to rise (February/March).
