It is Blake Edwards, who directed the movie Breakfast at Tiffany. Though the movie was based on a novella by Truman Capote, it explored more than the book. The film was about a woman who was on her own in a big city. Though the plots of the movie were short, they were quite rich on characterization. The movie depicted many contrasting characteristics of human being at the same time and also got the label of a great entertainment.

The film has got memorable touch because of the performance of the Audrey Hepburn also. Her portrayal of Holly Golightly is considered as one of the best screen personas ever has been portrayed in any movie. The musical score of Henry Mancini too made a big impact while depicting the book in the movie format.
