What Is The Smallest And The Largest Book In The World?
Answers
The smallest book is a book titled, "Chemin de la Cruix". It is about two inches in height about about one and half inches wide. Believe it or not, this book has a total of 119 pages. The largest book in the world is a world atlas book that is located in a British museum. This gigantic book stands over five feet tall and is three and a half feet wide. It is about as tall as a human being. The word "book" comes from the latin word Liber. Liber is the thin material found between the tree and the bark and in the old days, the Romans would peel away the bark and use the liber to make pages that eventually became books. To this very day, paper is still made from trees, from the same type of liber that was used many years ago by the Romans.
