I believe other than the Giant Panda of Chinese origin, only one other panda exists. It is the Qinling Panda, but not much is known.(en.wikipedia.org) There is a close relative, the Spectacled Bear (en.wikipedia.org) and the Red Panda, though the Red Panda is more raccoon like. It is considered a living fossil, like a crocodile, so perhaps the other species died out.
